Coffee and Donuts & Sunday School are Back!
We hope you all will join us before worship for a time of fellowship and learning together. In honor of Black History Month and our Vision Statement commitment to “grow a diverse community of faith” we are planning to study a book together written by Dr. Drew Hart, professor of theology at Messiah College. The book is entitled “Trouble I’ve Seen” and it explores how “the church can be a bridge” over the “troubled waters” of racial division in the church. As followers of Jesus, how can we be part of the solution? It should be a rich time of conversation and learning together. The church has purchased 8 copies of the book and if you’d like one, please speak to Pastor Tim. We can order more if we need to. The first lesson was February 9 and was an introduction, followed by chapter 1 on February 16.
Join us for an Ash Wednesday Service, February 26
The season of Lent is quickly approaching! Gathering together for a special worship service on the first day of Lent is an important way to prepare ourselves to fully engage spiritually with the season of Lent. It is a simple service with Scripture, a short reflection, and participants are invited to receive anointing with ashes. We will meet in the sanctuary at 6:30pm.

We Make the Road by Walking -- a Year Long Journey
On September 1, we began a year long journey through the Bible. We will be guided by Brian McLaren's book, "We Make the Road by Walking" and move from Genesis to Revelation over the course of the year. If you'd like to follow along with Brian McLaren's book week by week, you're welcome to purchase a book. If there is interest, we can set up small groups to read the book and study the scriptures together. Let the Pastors know if you might be interested in this!
